Insuring with ACC

ACC affords you the ability to participate in our Insurance Program, providing valuable protection for yourself as well as your business.

The Insurance Program coverage includes the following:

Liability

Coverage is based on acts & damage arising solely from your licensed child care operation.

  • Personal Injury
  • Incidental Malpractice
  • Abuse & Molestation
  • Animal Injury
  • Field Trips
  • Administrative Hearing Fees & Costs
  • Optional: Non-Owned Automobile
Accidental Medical and Dental Expense

Pays Covered Expenses for medical or surgical treatment, services, or supplies as outlined in the policy, that result directly, and from no other cause, from a Covered Accident, if the first expense is incurred within 1 year of the date of a covered accident.

Benefits are only payable up to $10,000 per Covered Accident:

  1. for Usual and Customary Charges incurred after the Deductible has been met;
  2. for those Medically Necessary Covered Expenses incurred by or on behalf of the Covered Person;
  3. for Covered Expenses incurred within 365 days after the date of the Covered Accident.
Covered Dental expenses are limited to $1,000.

Accidental Death & Dismemberment

Pays a lump sum benefit for accidental loss of life, limbs or sight occurring within 1 year of a Covered Accident.

  • Death Benefit
  • Dismemberment Benefit
  • Graduated Payment Schedules

If multiple losses occur, only one amount, the single largest amount you are entitled to as benefit will be paid for all losses due to the same Covered Accident.

Excess Coverage Provision

This applies to Providers and substitutes for the Accident Medical and Dental coverage ONLY. NO Deductible!

If a Covered Person incurs Covered Expenses, the policy pays the applicable benefit, subject to any applicable Deductible, Benefit Period and Benefit Maximum shown on the Schedule of Benefits that are in excess of expenses payable by any other Health Care Plan, regardless of any Coordination of Benefits provision contained in such Health Care Plan. The first expense must be incurred within one year from the date of the Covered Accident.
